Dried Figs are one of Turkey’s oldest export products and the Pagy family was part of that adventure. Family memories go back to the times when dried figs were brought back from the growing regions on the back of camels to the factory located on the sea front, pumping salty water from the pristine Aegean Sea to wash the figs. Today, in a totally modernised and BRC approved factory in Umurlu Aydın we ensure that Pagysa dried figs are safely processed and exported to all major markets in the traditional shapes and formats: layers, leridas, garlands, protoben etc.. We visit the growing areas at regular intervals before, during and after the season to gather the best information about the crop and follow up on the farmers and orchards from whom we regularly source our figs. We are proud to be picky about quality and concentrate our efforts to select the best available figs for our customers.
